Electrical Wholesale Sales Professional

We are seeking a talented and ambitious sales professional with electrical wholesale experience to join our team at Career-minded People.

This is a proactive sales role involving:

  • Taking and making inbound and outbound calls from existing and new customers to build strong relationships and drive sales growth.
  • Selling products directly to customers on the trade counter, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Working in a team with internal sales staff to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Developing a good understanding of electrical products and electrical supplies to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Clear telephone manner and the ability to provide exceptional levels of customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues promptly.
  • A can-do attitude, with a willingness to go the extra mile to meet customer needs and achieve sales targets.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage own workload effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • A positive and hardworking attitude, with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Previous internal sales experience in the Electrical Wholesale or similar trade industry is essential, with a proven track record of sales success.
  • Ambition to progress and achieve, with a good sense of humour and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Willingness to assist in other areas of the business during busy or holiday periods, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented approach.
  • Revisiting dormant accounts and approaching customers with a view to account reactivation, identifying new sales opportunities and driving growth.
  • Liaising with manufacturers to secure the best terms possible and quoting on special projects, building strong relationships and driving sales growth.
