Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Support Officer to join our team at GXO Logistics, Inc. As a Logistics Support Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our transportation services.

Compensation Package

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £29,000 - £34,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including holiday pay, a workplace pension, and access to our MyBenefits platform offering discounts and more.

Main Responsibilities
  • Debriefing staff members and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Monitoring tachographs and following legal guidelines.
  • Handling daily queries from drivers, customers, and internal departments.
  • Coordinating with stores to inform them of any delivery issues.
  • Resolving any problems or concerns that may arise during the night shift.
Required Skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Knowledge of Tachograph compliance and familiarity with the Working Time Directive would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a similar transport administration position would be beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, is required.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude is essential.
