About Selwood's Installations Team
We are seeking an experienced Installation Team Lead to join our growing Installations Team in Great Yarmouth. This role will involve supervising and supporting our installations team and customers, ensuring a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site supervision, with experience working on construction sites and a good understanding of onsite safety. A positive attitude, flexibility, and integrity are essential for this role.
Responsibilities will include overseeing all direct and indirect workers on site, ensuring RAMS are briefed and adhered to, and checking the quality of equipment before installation begins. Health & Safety is a top priority, and the successful candidate will be expected to manage their own safety and the safety of others around them.
This role requires flexibility, as you will be part of a call-out rota and may be required to work overtime outside of your normal working hours. In return, you will receive competitive salary and enhanced overtime rates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all aspects of the solution/sales project from conception to completion.
- Liaise with the Installation Manager to deliver up-to-date information on installation progress and potential problems.
- Carry out on-site RAMS processes, ensuring all on-site risks have been identified and stringent control measures are in place.
- Install pipework alongside and supervise the day-to-day workload of Installation Operatives and sub-contractors on site.
Requirements:
- A current Full UK driving license with less than 6 points.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Site Supervision or similar qualifications.
- Experience in hire or water-related industries is desirable but not essential.
