Job Title: Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist

 

Estimated Salary: £43,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience

 

We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Optima UK Inc Ltd. As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all fixed plant and mobile machinery across multiple sites in the East Midlands region.

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • A recognized mechanical engineering apprenticeship
  • Essential experience working on heavy plant, fixed, and/or mobile equipment
  • The ability to weld both Arc and Mig would be an advantage

 

In this role, you will work closely with site teams to plan and execute repairs and maintenance, ensuring the efficient operation of equipment. You will also be responsible for supervising on-site teams, completing regular inspections (PPMs), managing relevant paperwork, and responding to emergency breakdowns.
