Job Title: Residential Childcare Support Worker

Contract: Casual

Location: Heysham, Morecambe

Salary: £ per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Bay View on a casual basis. As a key member of our Residential Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe, secure, and homely environment for children and young adults, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring that the needs of each young person are met.
  • Participate in activities and outings with young people, promoting their social, emotional, and educational development.
  • Monitor and report any concerns or issues related to the young people's care, ensuring that their safety and well-being are prioritized.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a culture of trust, respect, and open communication within the home.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Diploma Level in Working with Children & Young People.
  • Be over years of age and hold a full UK driving license.
  • Be able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
