Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our young people to succeed and thrive in our residential settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide high-quality childcare and support to our young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • To work collaboratively with our team to create a positive and inclusive environment that promotes the well-being and development of our young people.
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring that our young people receive tailored support to meet their unique needs.
  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of our young people's progress, including their care plans, risk assessments, and incident reports.
  • To work closely with our management team to ensure that our services are delivered in accordance with our policies and procedures, and that we are meeting the needs of our young people and their families.
  • To participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, and to contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.

Requirements

  • A Diploma Level qualification in Working with Children & Young People.
  • Experience of working with young people with social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with our young people, their families, and our team.
  • A full UK driving license.
