Quality Engineer Role

Instro Precision seeks a Quality Engineer to monitor, plan, and improve business processes, increasing production output and product quality. The successful candidate will introduce new processes and procedures, determine quality standards, drive continuous improvements, and resolve problems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor production processes and identify potential problems and malfunctions.
  • Participate in the validation of manufacturing and engineering processes, including on-the-job training.
  • Resolve quality issues through structured problem-solving and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
  • Monitor the calibration system and ensure equipment is calibrated to schedule.
  • Support prototype, sample, and controlled product change builds through pre-production and production cells.
  • Complete internal product and system audits, performing necessary duties as an internal auditor.

Security Clearance:

  • Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be eligible to obtain security clearance to SC level.
