Job Overview

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the health and well-being of our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Patient Care: Conducting routine check-ups, vaccinations, and consultations for various animal species.
  • Diagnostics: Performing physical examinations, laboratory tests, and diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Treatments: Administering medications, performing minor surgeries, and providing appropriate treatments for illnesses and injuries.
  • Surgery: Assisting in or performing surgical procedures, including spays, neuters, and other surgeries.
  • Emergency Care: Handling emergency cases and providing critical care when necessary.
  • Client Education: Providing clear and informative advice to clients regarding animal care, preventative measures, and disease prevention.
  • Teamwork: Collaborating with other veterinary professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
  • Previous experience in veterinary practice is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong commitment to animal welfare and a passion for veterinary medicine.
