Occupational Therapist - Secure Care Community Services

The Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our community services team. This permanent, full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to work with diverse clients in a secure care setting.

This role involves providing occupational therapy services to individuals preparing for transition from secure care to the community. You will be responsible for assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering interventions to promote recovery and independence.

We are looking for an individual with postgraduate training in relevant subjects, such as HCPC registration and evidence of experience in using assessments and approaches to formulate client need for treatment. Your experience in working collaboratively with other agencies, managing complex behaviors, and promoting the role of the service within your duties will be essential.
