About the Role

As a Vehicle Mechanic and Examiner at Babcock International Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the maintenance and repair of military and civilian vehicles and equipment. Your duties will include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electrical issues
  • Conducting inspections and assessments to ensure vehicles meet safety and regulatory standards
  • Undertaking diagnostic duties and road testing to identify and resolve issues
  • Ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping of work completed and time taken
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in HGV maintenance and repair
  • A valid UK driving license
  • Relevant qualifications in motor mechanics, such as NVQ/SVQ or EAL Level 3 NVQ/SVQ Extended
