Job Summary
Furniture Village is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team. As an HR Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department, ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and procedures.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage new starter documents, including contracts of employment and right to work documents.
- Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of new starters, leavers, and changes to employee records.
- Issue letters confirming changes in employees' terms and conditions.
- Manage employee files and maintain accurate records.
- Provide excellent customer service to colleagues and respond to their inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Key Skills and Attributes
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of the generalist employee lifecycle with great attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Systems (Word & Excel) and HR and Payroll Systems.
- Able to work to tight deadlines and multitask effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexible and enthusiastic approach, with a willingness to work as part of a team.
