Culinary Director

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a talented Culinary Director to join our team at Chartwells. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for driving our culinary strategy and creating outstanding food experiences that delight our clients and customers.

Job Description:

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive culinary strategy that meets our business objectives
2. Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver high-quality food products
3. Identify opportunities to improve our food service and implement changes
4. Create a positive kitchen environment where your team feels valued and supported
5. Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image
6. Manage budgets and meet financial targets
7. Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations

Requirements:

• Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent qualification
• Have experience in a senior leadership role within a hospitality or catering organization
• Be a brilliant communicator and build strong relationships
• Have a proven track record of delivering results and meeting targets
• Strive for excellence in an enthusiastic and motivated manner
• Take initiative and make decisions that benefit our customers
• Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability
• Have a safety-first mindset
• Possess a passion for food

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience
