About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join our team and drive sales growth in the food sector. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the UK cash & carry/convenience/high street sales plan to meet channel-specific growth and profitability targets.
You will have a portfolio of food brands centered around sustainability, organic, natural, and plant-based products. Your key focus will be on building strong relationships with major cash & carry/convenience accounts and driving sales growth through effective category management and commercial negotiation.
Responsibilities- Develop and deliver the UK cash & carry/convenience/high street sales plan to meet channel-specific growth and profitability targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with major cash & carry/convenience accounts
- Drive sales growth through effective category management and commercial negotiation
- Manage a portfolio of food brands centered around sustainability, organic, natural, and plant-based products
- Minimum 2+ years' head office level contact with major cash & carry/convenience accounts
- Solid experience in JBPs and good knowledge of category management principles
- Sound commercial judgement
