Senior PHP Developer Opportunity

Opus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer to join their development team in Crawley. As a Senior PHP Developer, you will be responsible for building a product used by the public daily and bringing part of the codebase up to date with the most modern versions of Laravel.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience with Laravel, 5+ years' experience in JavaScript (ideally Vue but React and Angular is fine too), and a strong understanding of design and development principles. You will be expected to develop high-quality, well-tested, scalable code with a focus on re-use and use Test Driven Development techniques.

The salary for this role is up to £80,000, and you will need to be in the Crawley office 2 days a week, with some flexibility for the right person. If you are looking for a senior role and want to progress into a lead, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new features in a product.
  • Develop high-quality, well-tested, scalable code with a focus on re-use.
  • Use Test Driven Development techniques.
  • Work with the development team to bring part of the codebase up to date with the most modern versions of Laravel.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience with Laravel.
  • 5+ years' experience in JavaScript (ideally Vue but React and Angular is fine too).
  • Strong understanding of design and development principles.
