Internal Communications Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Internal Communications Coordinator to join our team on a part-time, fixed-term basis. The successful candidate will have the chance to explore new opportunities for channels and content, work closely with staff to communicate the news that matters to them, and manage communications for projects including our annual Vice-Chancellor Awards, wellbeing and equality, diversity, and inclusion.
The role involves writing and producing online and offline communications for the University's current staff audience, including regular e-newsletters. You will also assist with the management of our intranet, create and upload news, events, and supporting/informative content using the content management system (Drupal), and advise on new developments to improve engagement.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and will have excellent communication and organizational skills. They will also have experience in managing digital content and creating engaging campaigns.
Key Responsibilities- Write and produce a wide range of online and offline communications for the University's current staff audience.
- Assist with the management of our intranet, including creating and uploading news, events, and supporting/informative content.
- Plan and execute staff engagement campaigns, including producing microsites and campaign assets.
- Work with internal and external creative designers and agencies to project manage the production of digital and print content.
The salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a competitive pension scheme, up to 40 days holiday, travel and family benefits, and access to on-site world-class leisure facilities at discounted rates.
