Quantity Surveyor Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by managing costs, preparing estimates, and ensuring compliance with contract terms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Senior Quantity Surveyors to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Prepare take-off reports and ensure accurate valuations of works
  • Assist with the preparation of estimates and cost plans, and develop programmes for project delivery
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety Requirements and ensure a safe working environment
  • Travel to sites as required to monitor progress and ensure compliance with contract terms
Requirements:
  • RICS-accredited degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in relevant software
  • Keen to forge a career in Quantity Surveying and progress within the industry
  • Based near Poole and willing to travel further afield for work
  • Full driving license
