Job Description:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students with SEN. Your experience in the classroom will enable you to provide tailored assistance and foster an inclusive environment where all students can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
- Support students with SEN in their learning and personal development.
- Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt resources as needed.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their confidence and independence.
- Manage challenging behavior in a constructive manner.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to enhance student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to assessments.
Qualifications and Experience:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual with the skills and experience to make a positive impact on students' lives. Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a classroom setting is essential, as is demonstrated experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Knowledge of SEN practices, interventions, and resources is also desirable.
