About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Leader to join our team at Bright Horizons Norfolk Lodge Montessori Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of early years professionals to provide high-quality care and education to children.
  • Develop and implement engaging learning activities and environments that promote children's development and well-being.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, colleagues, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment for children and staff.

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar.
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children.
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents.
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
