Job Title: Catering Assistant

Anchor is seeking a skilled and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team at Landemere in Sinfin, Derby. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents, ensuring their nutritional needs are met and their dining experience is enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve meals to residents in a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Assist with food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the Chef Manager and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Participate in menu planning and preparation, considering dietary requirements and resident preferences.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 food safety certificate.
  • Health and safety procedures knowledge, including COSHH.
  • Previous catering experience, with knowledge of basic food safety and safe use of knives and kitchen equipment.
  • Experience working with older people, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
