Job Overview

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a skilled engagement professional to join the Public Participation Team. The successful candidate will work with colleagues and partners to identify and build sustainable relationships with local communities and seldom heard groups.

As a key member of the Public Participation Department, the post holder will contribute to the implementation of the Public Participation Plan (2021-2025) and develop ways of involving and engaging children and young people around the work of the Trust.

Main Duties of the Job

The post holder will play a key role in supporting the development and delivery of engagement strategies to key stakeholders and local communities. This will involve building relationships with community groups and organisations, including those from seldom heard communities.
