We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Falkland Veterinary Clinic.

About the Role

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) that requires a mix of shifts and 1:5 weekends with time off in lieu. As a Head Receptionist, you will provide a friendly and efficient service to our clients and their animals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receptionist duties such as answering phones, responding to emails, booking appointments, registering new clients, completing insurance forms, dispensing medications, taking payments, and providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients.
  • Managing the reception team, staff/holiday rotas, and recruitment.
Requirements

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as strong leadership skills. Experience managing teams will be highly beneficial. Previous receptionist or customer-facing experience is essential. Previous veterinary industry experience would also be highly beneficial.

What We Offer

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is up to £26,000 per annum, depending on experience (pro rata). We offer a range of benefits, including holidays, pensions, discounts, and more.
