About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessments and interventions to patients across a range of mental health, physical health, and learning disability services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans for patients
  • Provide evidence-based psychological interventions, including individual and group therapy
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and effective communication
  • Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members

Person Specification

We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with a strong background in psychological assessment and intervention. The ideal candidate will have a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
