Multi-Skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

Shift: 4 on/4 off - Days and Nights rotating shifts

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong mechanical bias, extensive hands-on experience, and the ability to work independently on night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical breakdowns, focusing on pneumatics, presses, air systems, and hydraulics.
  • Handle basic electrical tasks (sensors, relays) with internal training provided for our machines.
  • Participate in new projects, including the installation of new machinery.
  • Utilize our CMMS system via a provided tablet to maintain and update maintenance records.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in handling mechanical issues (70% of breakdowns are mechanical).
  • Experience in injection moulding or thermoforming is highly advantageous.
  • Comfortable working in a 24/7 fast-paced, heavy engineering environment.
