Thales OME Research and Technology Team
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our Research and Technology (R&T) team at Thales OME. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the strategic direction of our business, helping to drive the development of innovative electro-optic systems.
Key Responsibilities- Funding Opportunities
Identify and pursue funding opportunities to support the realization of our product line technology roadmaps.
Relationship BuildingLiaise with Thales R&T teams across the organization, as well as with key technology domains, to ensure a strong relationship and collaborative approach.
Business DevelopmentExplore business opportunities with our customer community, including government agencies, universities, and commercial businesses.
About YouEssential Requirements
- Experience
At least 5 years of experience in optronics research, development, and innovation.
EducationMaster's degree in Physics, Electronics, Engineering, or a similar numerate discipline.
SkillsExperience in the specification, design, and development of Electro-Optic Sensors, ideally with Machine Learning and/or Artificial Intelligence.
Domain KnowledgePrior relevant domain knowledge and a willingness to adapt and learn about a wider variety of technologies.
CommunicationCompiling quality presentation material and presenting clearly to customers and at conferences.
TravelWillingness to travel as and when necessary.
Desirable Requirements
- Advanced Education
PhD in a subject related to Electro-optics, Physics, Computer Sciences, Artificial Intelligence, Vision, Robotics, Simulation, Opto-Electronics, Data Analysis, Engineering, or Synthetic Data generation.
Business Development ExperiencePrior experience in Technical Business Development/Sales.
