Senior Commercial Bid Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Bid Manager to join our team at Gregory Distribution Ltd. As a key member of our Business Solutions team, you will be responsible for leading the development and submission of bids and proposals to secure new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement winning bid strategies to align with our business development plans.
  • Lead the Business Solutions team to create high-quality bid proposals that meet the tender requirements and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop compelling and competitive bids.
  • Conduct research to source the best-in-class solutions for our company.
  • Manage the budget and monitor spending to achieve planned objectives.
  • Develop and share best practices to improve content, messaging, and processes.

Requirements:

  • Experience of bid management within the warehousing/transport and logistics industry.
  • Member of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) is advantageous.
  • Experience developing and implementing winning bid strategies.
  • Experience leading multiple, concurrent bids.
  • Experience managing a diverse range of stakeholders across multiple bids.
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities and process-minded.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Able to liaise at all levels in the organisation.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
