Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Swimming Instructor to join our team at Freedom Leisure.

In this role, you will deliver swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities, ensuring they feel supported and achieve their goals. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside other staff members to create a fun and engaging environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • To teach swimming to children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre's swimming lesson programme, according to qualification, training and experience
  • To communicate with parents/guardians concerning their child's development, and advise on their progression through the programme
  • To assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring their safety and discipline
  • To assist with administration tasks in the office

Requirements:

  • NPLQ qualification or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to work closely with customers
  • An ability to deal with children and their parents
  • Level 2 swimming teaching qualification
  • DBS check
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills

Compensation and Benefits
