Job Opportunity: Behaviour Mentor

We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work with students who require additional support in a Special Education setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans to promote academic progress and social skills
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of behaviour management strategies

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with children or young people with special educational needs
  • Ability to work effectively in a small group or one-to-one setting
  • Passion for working with children and young people in a SEN setting
  • Current DBS on the update service or willingness to take one
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Minimum of Level 2 qualification or equivalent
