Project Lead Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Project Lead Assistant to join our team at We Manage Jobs (WMJobs). As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the success of young people and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Session Planning: Develop and implement engaging session plans for each half term, ensuring effective resource management within a set budget.
  • Team Management: Line manage a small team of project support workers, fostering their growth and well-being.
  • Training and Development: Deliver high-quality training sessions to share expertise with the team.
  • Student Support: Complete student induction meetings, providing essential information on risk management to the team.
  • Role Modeling: Demonstrate excellent behavior, challenging any inappropriate behavior and promoting a positive, inclusive environment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the team to deliver exceptional sessions for young people.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete planning paperwork, student record sheets, and half-termly reports.
  • Community Engagement: Visit new students or those struggling to attend, encouraging engagement and building relationships.
  • Supervision: Maintain high levels of student supervision, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Risk Management: Adhere to risk assessments for each activity, supporting the team in implementing these.
  • Behaviour Management: Work within established guidelines for behaviour management.
  • Safeguarding: Adhere to the Safeguarding Policy and Staff Code of Conduct.
  • Professional Development: Participate in in-house and external training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
