Warehouse Operative Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at Siamo Recruitment. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient coordination of warehouse stock and delivering exceptional customer service.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and processing supplier delivered parts, ensuring accurate storage and inventory management
  • Picking and loading vans accurately and in a timely manner, meeting customer delivery timeframes
  • Inspecting customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge, maintaining high standards of quality control
  • Verifying stock quantities against computer records and ensuring stock is stored in allocated bin locations
  • Working in a fast-paced environment, labeling boxes and maintaining a high level of productivity
  • Standing for extended periods at packing stations, demonstrating physical stamina and endurance
  • Providing flexibility in supporting other areas within the warehouse, including housekeeping and maintenance tasks
  • Meeting customer service requirements by completing work to a high standard and adhering to company policies

About You:
  • A proven track record of working in a fast-paced warehouse or similar environment, with excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering results in a target-driven environment
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills, with a good understanding of customer service principles and delivery timeframes
  • Knowledge of car parts and the automotive industry, although not essential, is desirable
