We are seeking an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to support our business growth and expansion. As a newly created role, you will play a crucial part in driving our financial operations and contributing to the success of our company.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial management principles and be able to take ownership of their own business units. You will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, bank reconciliations, and purchase ledger reconciliation/payment runs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
- Manage the purchase ledger, including payment runs and reconciliation.
- Review and manage payroll, including hours review and payment processing.
- Provide weekly KPIs on revenue and payroll costs.
- Communicate with home managers and admins to drive commercial decisions and increase profitability.
- Assist with the consolidation of management accounts.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of intercompany positions.
- Undertake ad hoc projects as required.
- Deal directly with external 3rd parties.
- Review and analyze management company overheads.
- Prepare budgets and cashflow projections.
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy is required.
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines is essential.
- Proficient in computer software, particularly Excel.
