About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team in the Children's Crisis and Assessment Team (CCAT) at Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking administrative duties associated with patient care, recording clinical activity accurately, and participating in annual job plan reviews. They will also work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, provide psychiatric expertise to the CCAT team, and undertake outpatient clinics via the intervention arm of CCAT. Additionally, they will liaise effectively with primary care and mainstream mental health services, and have regular clinical supervision with a consultant psychiatrist.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4 years' full-time postgraduate training in psychiatry, with at least 2 years within a psychiatry training programme. They will also have experience working within CAMHS and excellent clinical skills using a bio-psychosocial perspective. A full valid driving license and access to a car are also essential for this role.
