Job Title: Senior Structural Design Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our busy Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy based in Leicestershire. As a Senior Structural Design Engineer, you will be responsible for managing one of our busiest civil and structural teams, taking part in large commercial and industrial projects, such as highway design, infrastructure, and drainage designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting and analysing structural faults and remediation (if required)
  • Experience of scheme and detailed designs
  • Conducting structural surveys of buildings and structures, by offering solutions for any potential issues
  • Responsible for delivering projects effectively by managing client expectations

Requirements:

  • A relevant first-class degree. E.g., MEng in Structural Engineering
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Structural design
  • Associate memberships (ICE or IStructE) or chartered membership
  • Experienced designer with Tekla/TEDDS
  • Quantitative and qualitative experience in building structure
