Principal Structural Engineer - Permanent - Leicestershire - Established Contractor - Water Projects

Your new company 
You will be an established contractor based in Leicestershire working on water projects for high-profile clients. This multi-sector organisation has a strong order book and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Principal Structural Engineer to lead their team of talented engineers. This is a permanent position based in their Leicestershire office.

Your new role 
As Principal Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Undertaking the design and review of structures on wastewater and water infrastructure treatment projectsLeading the delivery of structural design by othersHolding responsibility for delivering to agreed budget, programme and qualityProducing and reviewing high quality deliverables, including calculations, drawings and technical reportsDelegating tasks and overseeing the work of others whilst simultaneously acting as a technical mentor to more junior staff.
What you'll need to succeed 
In order to be successful, you will:Hold a Civil Engineering degree (or experience equivalent)Possess a range of structural analysis and design experience, particularly in relation to reinforced concrete and steelwork structuresHave experience using BIM and 3D design tools.
