Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Debt Solutions Specialist to join our Ability to Pay Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in resolving customer payment issues, providing personalized support, and helping individuals get back on track with their utility bills.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve customer payment issues from start to finish, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Conduct health checks for repayment arrangements and advise on payment revisions or amendments as needed.
- Identify vulnerable customers and offer additional support, including referrals to relevant organizations or charities.
- Address customers' ability to pay regarding unbarring and reconnection of telco services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and effective issue resolution.
Requirements
- Strong customer service experience, with a proven track record of resolving complex issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with customers in challenging situations.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and mutual support.
- Previous experience in debt recovery or a related field, with a strong understanding of utility billing and payment processes.
- Emotional intelligence, with a calm and composed demeanor in high-pressure situations.
