About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join our IT Business Partner team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing learning programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of our IT workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with IT Leadership to identify skill gaps and develop strategies to address them.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify skill gaps within the IT department and develop customized learning programs to address them.
  • Design and implement training initiatives to enhance learning effectiveness and promote continuous learning and development within the IT workforce.
  • Evaluate and select external training vendors, consultants, or online learning platforms to supplement internal learning initiatives.
  • Develop strategies for the adoption of new technologies and tools within the department and identify training needs related to technology upgrades or implementations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback mechanisms, assessments, and performance metrics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, IT, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Learning and Development, preferably within an IT or technology-focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT skill sets, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery.
  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
