About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Risk Consultant to join our rapidly growing security engineering team at Hoare Lea. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading risk consulting projects and managing day-to-day activities within the risk team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead risk consulting projects and manage day-to-day activities within the risk team.
  • Support the risk consultancy lead in developing security threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments for projects.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to establish project security requirements and implement effective security measures.
  • Monitor job resourcing and expenditure, and adjust as necessary to ensure project delivery.
  • Participate in the development of approaches to project delivery to support continued team growth.
  • Implement Hoare Lea's review and governance procedures across all projects.
  • Report commercial delivery to the team leader.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of security risk management principles and industry standards.
  • Experience in project planning and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
