We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team at European LifeCare Group. As a Clinical Lead Nurse, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality immunisation services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Programme Management: Ensure the immunisation programme is delivered in accordance with CQC guidelines and standards.
- Clinical Supervision: Provide regular clinical supervision to immunisation nurses to ensure they are working to a high clinical standard.
- Safeguarding: Address safeguarding concerns raised by nurses and escalate to the Clinical Director as necessary.
- Compliance: Ensure accurate and comprehensive record-keeping for all formal and informal clinical supervision, staff training and recruitment, and incidents and complaints.
- Performance Development: Conduct annual performance development reviews for clinical staff and ensure they undertake a comprehensive clinical induction.
- Training and Development: Document training and support sessions according to Vaccination UK standards and requirements.
- Incident Management: Work with Senior Management to ensure accurate recording of clinical incidents and complaints, allocate investigating officers appropriately, and complete outcome forms.
- Qualifications: Nurses and Midwives currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Experience: Evidence of ongoing professional development and experience of working within PGD frameworks.
- Skills: Safeguarding trained, immunisation essential, managerial/leadership skills, good IT skills, excellent communication and organisational skills.
