About the Role:

As a Medication Optimisation Technician, you will be responsible for enabling medicine optimisation and adherence for patients. This will involve visiting patients in their own homes to assess their medication compliance and supporting the transition from other healthcare settings back to their own homes.

You will also be required to transcribe MAR charts, conduct diagnostic testing (such as blood pressure and glucose testing), and administer medication, including insulin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visiting patients in their homes to assess medication compliance
  • Transcribing MAR charts to support patient care
  • Conducting diagnostic testing and administering medication
  • Working independently with minimal supervision

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have some post-qualification experience and excellent communication skills. You should be able to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage your time effectively.

Salary:

The salary for this role is approximately £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
