Operating Department Practitioner

As a skilled Operating Department Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients and delivering exceptional clinical outcomes in Anaesthetics. This is an excellent opportunity to join our Theatre department and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient journeys.
We are seeking a dedicated individual who can assist with pre-operative preparation, induction, maintenance, and recovery of patients undergoing anaesthesia. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support anaesthetic teams in the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Assist with pre-operative preparation, induction, maintenance, and recovery of patients undergoing anaesthesia.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient journeys.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- HCPC/NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
- ALS Qualification desirable but not essential.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Flexible and positive attitude.
- A warm, considerate, and empathetic character.
- Competitive Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum.
