Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and sub-contractors, providing service and maintenance to social housing providers on Air Source and Ground Source heat pumps. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of engineers and sub-contractors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to identify heat pump installation opportunities
  • Develop and implement heat pump designs and installation plans
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their energy efficiency needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed

Requirements:

  • City and Guilds Ordinary Craft Plumbing and City and Guilds Advanced Craft Plumbing qualifications
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in heat-loss software and iPad-based design tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work varied hours and travel to different locations
