We are seeking a skilled Renewable Energy Engineer to join our team at Octopus Energy. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving the global renewable energy revolution.

As a Renewable Energy Engineer, you will be responsible for installing low-carbon technology in customers\u2019 homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps. You will work closely with a Low Carbon Heating Support Engineer to ensure seamless installation and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installing low-carbon technology in customers\u2019 homes
  • Collaborating with the Low Carbon Heating Support Engineer to ensure successful installations
  • Reviewing and collaborating on technical specifications and mechanical drawings
  • Working with an electrician to commission Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Leading your team and empowering them to make on-the-fly decisions to do what\u2019s right for you and your customers

Requirements include:

  • G3 (unvented cylinder) qualification or proven experience
  • Experience in the installation of boilers and a plus if you know about air source heat pumps
  • Experience as a plumbing and heating engineer with knowledge of heating system design and the ability to fault find
  • Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points)

We offer a competitive salary of £38,000 per year, with on-target earnings of £45,000 + London weighting if living within the M25. You will also receive a £2,500 annual performance bonus, share options in Octopus Energy, and a comprehensive training program at our groundbreaking R&D centre.
