Job Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Health Aide to join our team at ComForCare Home Care. As a key member of our care family, you will provide essential personal care and companion services to clients in their homes.

**Estimated Salary:** $18.50 - $22.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

**Job Responsibilities:)
Our Home Health Aides play a vital role in supporting our clients' independence and well-being. Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing personal care assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, nail/skin care, back care, foot care, shampoo, oral hygiene, ambulation, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices, change of position, with toileting, commode, incontinent care, meal planning, preparation, and assistance with feeding.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful as a Home Health Aide, you must have the following skills and qualifications:
  • High school graduate or G.E.D certificate.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Successful completion of a state-approved Direct Care Worker or Home Health Aide course.
  • Be listed in good standing on the Pennsylvania Aide Registry.
  • Achieves a minimum score of 80% on competency exam (Home Health Aide Test).
  • Meets passing criteria on the DEARS Ethics test.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job.
