Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Director Operations to join our team at Cognisant Limited. As a key member of our operational leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the profitability, cash efficiency, and commercial opportunity across our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare and present monthly financial forecasts, including profit and loss, cash flow, and balance sheet projections, to the Group Board.
  • Site Appraisals: Conduct regular site appraisals, including scheme changes and initial reviews of changes to a development, to ensure accurate financial assessments.
  • Land Acquisition: Prepare land acquisition appraisals and represent finance at project reviews to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Joint Venture Management: Liaise with Joint Venture partners and oversee the preparation of JV board packs and monthly cash flow drawdown.
  • Bank Relationship and Financing: Support the development and maintenance of relationships with banks and other financial institutions to secure financing for our projects.

Requirements:

We are looking for a fully qualified accountant with significant post-qualified experience in a similar role. You will have a proven track record of delivering business operations, motivating team members to drive volume and deliver excellence. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with various stakeholders, including operational directors, joint venture partners, and bank representatives.
