Exciting Opportunity for HGV Class 2 Drivers

Vector Recruitment Solutions is seeking skilled HGV Class 2 drivers to join their team in the drainage sector. As a key player in maintaining essential infrastructure, you will have the opportunity to work with a rapidly expanding drainage contractor.

Role and Responsibilities

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will operate the Vacuum Tanker (Gully Tanker) with utmost safety and play a crucial role in maintaining the roadside drainage network. This entails active involvement outside the vehicle, utilizing provided equipment to ensure the drainage network's upkeep. Work will be conducted in pairs, distributing the workload effectively.

Shift Pattern
  • Monday to Friday, Day and Night shifts available
  • Day Shift – 05:30 – 15:00
  • Night Shift – 15:00 - 00:30
  • Flexibility to work day or night shift preferred.
Pay
  • Day Shift - £12.85 per hour
  • Night Shift - £16.06 per hour
  • Pay rates may be negotiable for candidates with previous drainage experience.
Requirements
  • HGV Class 2 Licence
  • Willingness to undertake the physical aspect of the work.
  • Experience working in a highways or drainage desirable.
