Job Summary:

Shaw Healthcare is seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Brynhyfryd. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing physical and emotional support to our service users, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist service users with daily living tasks, such as washing, dressing, and personal care.
  • Encourage and support service users to maintain their independence and engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each service user.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to service users, helping to build their confidence and self-esteem.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience is necessary, as full training will be provided.
  • A caring and compassionate approach to supporting vulnerable adults.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
