Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Legal Administrator to join our team in Nottingham. As a Legal Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our legal team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Process Legal Aid applications, including amendments.
  2. Manage invoices in line with office protocols.
  3. Maintain online diaries, including scheduling hearings and tracking filing dates.
  4. Highlight hearings and meetings for proper allocation.
  5. Follow up on outstanding documents.
  6. Draft standard letters and basic court documents.
  7. Coordinate client appointments.
  8. Communicate with clients, courts, and professionals via email, phone, and in-person.
  9. Manage the opening and closing of physical files.
  10. Take minutes during meetings.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-year experience in an administrative or similar role.
  • Exceptional organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation and records.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Benefits
