Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Legal Administrator to join our team in Nottingham. As a Legal Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our legal team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Legal Aid applications, including amendments.
- Manage invoices in line with office protocols.
- Maintain online diaries, including scheduling hearings and tracking filing dates.
- Highlight hearings and meetings for proper allocation.
- Follow up on outstanding documents.
- Draft standard letters and basic court documents.
- Coordinate client appointments.
- Communicate with clients, courts, and professionals via email, phone, and in-person.
- Manage the opening and closing of physical files.
- Take minutes during meetings.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-year experience in an administrative or similar role.
- Exceptional organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation and records.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Benefits
