We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Drainage Design Engineer to join our Design & Business Services team in Speke, Liverpool. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing drainage systems that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and review drainage design calculations, flood risk assessment reports, and drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with the Civil and Structural Engineering Team to coordinate drainage and civil engineering design information.
- Set sustainable drainage strategies for projects and obtain necessary consents through the Local Authority Planning Approval process.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulations.
- Proven experience in designing drainage systems to CIRIA C753 SuDS Manual guidance.
- Experience in making applications for sewer adoptions and consulting with local sewer operators.
- Hold professional qualifications such as BSc, MSc, BEng or MEng in Civil Engineering or Environmental Sciences, and CEng, Member, or Associate Member of Institution of Civil Engineers or Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management or similar.
