Salary and Benefits
We are offering £21,896 per year, plus full-time hours with 35 hours per week and flexible shifts ranging from 6am to 9pm. Job Description
You will report to the Sous Chef and work collaboratively in different catering outlets to prepare food for military dining facilities and hospitality events. Your responsibilities include maintaining high food hygiene and health and safety standards, learning procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks, and undertaking relevant training as required. You will also assist the Sous Chef with post-analysis and ensure that all shift opening and closing checklists are completed.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a relevant culinary qualification, knowledge of health and safety, previous experience working in a kitchen or within catering, and a basic DBS. As a team player and confident communicator, you will work flexibly and adapt to changing situations.

Location and Hours
Your main place of work will be Fort George Barracks, with opportunities to work locally for overtime at short-term camps. The job requires flexibility and willingness to work any 5 days over 7, including some weekend work.
