About Us:
The nursery is an esteemed institution that has recently undergone a change in management, marking the beginning of an exciting period of transformation. Our team is dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering a love of learning in every child. The nursery operates throughout the year, with working hours between 7:30am and 6pm.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Room Leader to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to the children and working closely with the team to achieve our goals. This role is ideal for someone looking to take their career to the next level. The wellbeing and happiness of our children and staff are our top priority, and we require our Room Leader to support other team members in achieving this.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will possess excellent team working skills, enabling them to work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure the children's safety and well-being. They will be a role model for the children and colleagues, managing and motivating the team to create a positive working environment. In the absence of the Manager and Deputy Manager, the Room Leader will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the nursery.
Requirements:
We are looking for a qualified individual with a recognized Level 3 qualification in Early Years. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. A current and valid First Aid certificate is also essential.
