Front of House Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Front of House Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our Front Office, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and exceeding expectations in luxury hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service Excellence:
    • Lead a team of Front of House staff, promoting outstanding service and seamless guest experiences from check-in to check-out.
    • Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally, maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Front Office Operations:
    • Oversee the Front Desk, Concierge, and Reservations, ensuring efficient and smooth day-to-day operations.
    • Collaborate with the Revenue Manager to optimize room availability and pricing, aligning with market trends.
  • Housekeeping Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the Housekeeping department to ensure rooms are prepared to the highest standards.
    • Conduct regular room inspections and assist with quality checks to maintain exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership & Training:
    • Lead, train, and develop Front of House staff to deliver exceptional service and adhere to hotel policies.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, set team goals, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Operational Efficiency & Coordination:
    • Oversee check-in, check-out, and billing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in guest transactions.
    • Closely coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Financial Responsibility:
    • Manage the Front Office budget, controlling expenses in line with the hotel's financial goals.
    • Prepare regular reports on Front Office performance and guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Front Office or Front of House management, preferably in luxury hotels.
  • Degree in Hospitality Management or related field is desirable.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and proficiency in Property Management Systems.
